How do I clean my enamelware?
Enamelware can be easily cleaned. Ahead of using your enamelware in the oven, we recommend brushing a thin layer of oil on the pans. If you find burn marks on your dish after cooking, simply soak in warm soapy water for a short period of time before washing. For tougher stains, soak bicarbonate of soda or lemon juice on the stain for half an hour and then wash as normal. All of our enamelware is dishwasher safe.
Is enamelware safe to eat food from?
This British enamelware is free from harmful chemicals and nickel and lead, which make it entirely safe to eat from.
Can I put enamelware in the oven and on the hob?
Our enamelware is designed to be used in the oven and can also be placed on a hob, including flame and induction hobs, up to 270C.
Can I put enamelware in the microwave?
Enamelware is made from steel, so its metallic properties are not suitable for microwaves.
Is enamelware freezer safe?
All of our enamelware is safe to be put in the freezer; our mini tumblers are the perfect size for home-made ice lollies!
Is enamelware safe to use if it is chipped?
Enamelware is known for being unbreakable thanks to its durable properties. However, it may still chip, adding character if you ask us. If your enamelware has a chip you can still use it as normal and it won’t affect the safety of your product.
