With designing my holiday banister garland, as much as I LOVE real cedar, it’s just too messy with kids and dries out too fast. This is the closest solution and it honestly looks very close to real! Plus I’m hoping to get 10 seasons out of the investment. So far I’m 3 seasons in and it still looks brand new!
For every 5.5 foot swag I use two to three cedar strands and one eucalyptus strand. Finish off with ribbon and bells and berries at each swag intersection where you can attach to the banister.
